Wilson left this .week for Dacula, for a month’s visit to relatives and friends. Mrs. IT. A. Carithers has return ed from Atlanta, where she spent two weeks with her parents. Miss Marie Smith 'left Saturday for Gainesville fora two weeks’ visit to relatives and friends. Miss Veda Miller, who has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Wages, has returned to her home in Atlanta. Miss Robbie Blasingame returned home Saturday from Jersey, where she has been visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Willie Perry leaves today for Atlanta and Jonesboro, where she will spend two weeks, the guest of friends. Miss Myra Ware has resumed her duties in the school room. Mr. H. O. Ball, of Jackson, Georgia, was visiting friends in this city Sunday. Mr. Karl Kimbell, of Washing ton, D. C., is expected home soon ito spend his vacation. Ralph Sharpton, son of S. E. Sharpton, fell from a box ear Wednesday*and broke his arm. Mr. and Mrs. Higginbotham, of Atlanta, are spending the week with the latter’s mother,’Mrs. Coker and family. A Mr. J. Wesley Smith, of Athens, and Mr. E. Turner and Edgar Jackson made an automobile trip to Mon roe Monday in the interest of the Winder lee and Manufacturing Cos mpany. A party consisting of C, C. Greg ory and family, Mrs. G. W. \V<x>d ruff and children, S. F. Graham and Cleveland Perry spent a pleas ant day recently at Reece’s mills fishing. Messrs. G. W. Smith and M. J. Griffeth visited Winterville and Athens this week. They made the trip in Mr. Smith’s automobile in seyen hours and twenty minutes, spending two hours in Winterville and an hour and a half in Athens.
