The protracted meeting is still going on at this place and there have been three additions to the church already. Holloway and family spent Sunday with Mr. Luther Par tain and family. LEBANON. Rev. G. D. Stone will fill his re gular appointment at Lebanon church Saturday at !> p m and Sun day at 11 a rn. There was a nice Barbecue at the home of Mr. A. S. Shields Friday which was well attended and enjoy ed by those present. The barbecue was given by the Farmer’s Union Club of Galilee. Sheriff B.H. Collier was on hand and sold what meat was left to the highest bidder after dinner. The barbecue was a success. Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Toney,of the Classic City,spent last Sunday lure. Mrs. J. L. Doolttle is on the sick list N. ,T- Freeman, of the Gate City, who has been spending some time herewith relatives home Sunday. Mrs. Lou Redmond, of Richmond county, is spending a few days here with rt latives. Mr. and Mrs. James Morris, of Monroe, spent a short time recently in our midst. Mrs. Rose Wier and Mr. Sam Fester, of near Athens, spent two days of last week here as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Fulcher. J. L. M.
