We have just returned from a week’s visit to relatives and friends at County Line. For general clever ness and big heartedness County Line is the place. Mrs. Artis Edges and little chil dren and also Mr. Eli Stencil, Jr. spent us. Mr. Lee Cooper, from Birmingham, Ala., is spending the summer with homefolks. Homer Richardson, of Talrno, was out at Sabbath school Sunday. Rev. J. I. Oxford, of Atlanta, will deliver an address on “Christ ian Education” the first Sunday in September. Come all and hear this good man. Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Barnett spent Sunday over the way. Mr. Andy Barnett had a mule to get killed by lighting a few days ago. Dave McNeal, of Dacula, is visit ing homefolks. R. D. Moore, C. S. C , passed through last week and gave us a" call. CORINTH. Several from thsection attended court last week at Monroe. Messrs. Weldon Hinesley, Green Smith and George Thomas, were visitors in this section Sunday after noon. Mrs, J.' T. Hinsley has been very sick for the last few days, but we are glad to say she is some better. Misses Bertie Wiley, Mamie and Ruby Odum and Mr. Charlie Mor row visited Misses Emma,lda and Mr. George Smith Sunday. The prayer meeting at Mr. Joe Clack's was well attended Sunday afternoon. Mr Albert Kinsley visited Mr. Vivian Kinney Sunday afternoon. | Mr. and Mrs. George Holloway and family went to Lawreneeville Friday, visiting the former's sister, Mrs. Laura Branlett. Mr. Ben Clack, of Hoschtwn, visit and Mr. and Mrs. Lovie Thomas Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. .J. M. Fuller and John Kinsley went to Omer Sun day to the fa ce la singing. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Hinesley visited Mr. Zion Wright Thursday. The school at this place will clo e Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Gunter, of B'thlehem, visited Mr. and Mrs. Hsiidy Bedinglield Sunday night. Little Jewel Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Smith, is very sick at this writing. Miss Cleo Ho) Jo way visited Miss Cathalene Bedingfkld Saturday night. Mrs. Lee Morris is visiting in Athens for a few days, the guest of her mother. Miss Ida Smith is visiting her sist.T, Mrs. H, T. Hinsley, of Russellville, this week. Mrs. Bowman visited at Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kenney’s Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Smith visit ed the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Job R. Smith, of Winder, Saturday night. Mr. W. M. Fuller is visiting his sister, Mrs. C. A. Edwards. OAK GROVE. We are sorry to report that Mr. George Langley is confined to his room with fever. We wish for him a speedy recovery. Mr. Ace Porter attended Sunday school at New Chapel Sunday. Mr. Will Jones and family visit ed Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Jones Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Will Watson visit ed Mr. and Mrs. Will Wallace Sun day. The icecream supper at the home of Mr. Will Wallace Thursday night was highly enjoyed by all present. Mrs. J. C. Patrick visited her parents near Nezareth Sunday.
