Mrs. Emma Attaway and Mrs. Maud Camp went to Winder shop ping Monday. Mr. [., L. Rogers spent Saturday and Sunday at Bethlehem. Mr. and Mrs. Wurman Harri son, of Bethlehem, visited Mr. and Mrs. H. /.. Perkins Sunday. Messrs J. IT. Clack and 11. vL Camp made a business trip to Stat liuin Monday. We are glad to know that the Jit - tie infant of Mr. and Mrs. Odis Camp is better at this writing. The farmers in this community will soon be through gathering, if the good weather holds out. Rev- Foster spent Saturday night with Mr. John Clack and family. PENTECOST. Quite a large crowd attended preaching here Sunday. We had a good sermon and real good music. Messrs. Jimmie Wall and Charlie Robertson, of Statham, were here with their cornets. We appreciated their coming very much and extend t ) them an invitation to come again. The quarterly conference con vened here Saturday and was well attended. All the cuurches of the Jackson circuit were represented. J. M. llaynie was selected to goto the unnual conference. We wish to thank our minister, who has been so faithful in preaching the gospel for us this year- Miss Ada McDonald was the guest of Miss Wilder Pentecost Sun day. Several from here attended the singing at Pleasant Hill Sunday afternoon. Miss Eunice Quinn, of Statham, was the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. 1). Wail, r* cently. Mr. and Mrs. R. W.
