Mrs. Hattie Hendrix is spending a few days with Mrs. C.illie lloach. i We are sorry to note the sad death of Mrs. Alice Edgar, whoso illness was mentioned in these items several limes recently. God took her away Thursday, October 29. She was hurried at Bethlehem cem etery Friday, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. I. H. Mil ler. She haves her father and mother, one sister, three brothers, a husband and three small children to mourn for her. The stricken family has the sympathy of a host of relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Allen, through The News, wish to ac knowledge the * many courtesies shown them on the occasion of the death of their little son, and ex tend sincere thanks to their friends for their kindness.
