Several from here attended pray er meeting at Mr. Balie Chandler’s Sunday. We are sorry to hear of the death o!' Mrs. Bell Perkins, who passed to her eternal home Monday night. The remains were laid to rest in the Bethlehem cemetery Tuesday. The stricken family have the sympa thy of a host of friends and rela tives. Mr. J. L. Hunter, Sun day- Boy Rome, Ga. —Flatwood’s district,' near Rome, is in a state of terror of hydrophobia, and scores of dogs were slaughtered there Sunday, fol lowing the death of Will Woodall, a 12-year-old boy, in horrible con vulsions, Sunday afternoon. The child was bitten by a pet dog two weeks ago and hydrophobia de veloped. The dog had bitten many others, and for this reason men with guns are searching the neigh borhood end killing every eta nine they find.
