The groom is to be congratulated on winning sifeh a fair young lady for a life companion. Their many friends wish for them a long, hap py and useful life. Mr. A. J. Morgan made a busi ness trip to Gainesville one day last week. Mr. Claude Roberts, wife and son, Hutchie, were visiting the father and mother of Mrs. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Coleman, Sat urday and Sunday. Messrs. J. Davis and J. Dan Brooks made a business trip to Winder one day last week. The family of Mr. Charlie Brooks were visiting the family of Mr. Dan Brooks here Sunday. Mrs. Gus Phillips remains no better at this writing. Ask Mr. D- J. Hanson why he has been taking such long walks at night here of late and he will reply: “Ah! its a girl.” Grandma McNeal is visiting her eon and daughter here, Mr. W. A. McNeal and Mrs. G. W. Kinney. Mr. Bose Cruce and family visit ed Mr. Charlie Batchelor and family Sunday afternoon. Mrs. £ Julius Bridges is on the sick list- She is in some what of a precarious condition. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie Morgan, a boy. Miss Julie Maddox has returned home after an extended visit to her sister at Winder. Scribbler. CORINTH. Several from this place attended preaching at Bethlehem Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. T. V. Morrow were the gutsts of Mr. E. H. Odum and family Saturday night and Sunday. Mr- and Mrs. W. J. Smith, of Winder, visited the former’s parents Saturday night and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Hinesley vis ited Mr- and Mrs. S. H. Harrison Sunday. Mr. J. JI. Bedingfield and family visited the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bedingfield Sun day. Mrs. O.A. Johnson, of Winder, is visiting her brother, Mr. J. T. Hinesley, this week, The singing at Mr. J. T. Hines ley ’s Monday night was well at tended. Misses Bertie Wiley, Emma and Ida Smith and Mr. George Smith attended Sunday school at Chapel Sunday afternoon. Mr. J. R. Day and family at tended preaching at Cedar Creek Sunday morning. LONG VIEW. Rev. John Hall preached a very interesting sermon at this place j Sunday. A large crowd attended. The singing at Mr. W. W. Hayes’ Sunday night was enjoyed by all. Miss Alma Durham visited- Miss Hattie Parker'at Cedar Hill, Satur day night and Sunday. Miss Montine Smith and brother attended Sunday school here Sun- I day afternoon. Mrs. C. T. Williams has returned from a visit to her mother at Law- renceville. Mr. J ‘hn Durham and i Sunday with Mr. Allen Flanigan. Mr. Walter Rainey has returned home from a visit to Texas and Oklahoma. Some of our young people, are counting on going to the singing at Pentecost next Sunday. Miss Efiie Rainey visited friends at Winder Saturday and Sunday. School is progressing fine under the management of Prof. Charles T. Williams. Miss Floy Young, from Hosch ton, was at Long View Sunday. Miss Maude Fowler was the guest of Miss Cora Rainey Sunday after noon. ROCKY RIDGE. Rev. I. H. Miller filled his ap pointment here Sunday. A large crowd attended the services. Mr. T. N. Thompson and wife, of Winder, spent Saturday night and Sunday .with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Adams, of Camp ton, spent Monday with Mr. W. P. Thompson and family. Mrs. Hattie Hendrix spent Fri day with her sister, Mrs. Callie | Hosch. Miss. Ruth Treadwell spent Sat urday night with Miss Ever Mc ! Donald. The second quarterly meeting | will be held at Bethlehem Methodist | church Saturday, March 13. Every body invited to come. Dinner on the grounds.* Dr. King will preach Saturday and Sunday. Mr. W. P. Thompson is still quite ill, but hope he will soon be out again. Mr. and Mrs- L. W. Leslie and Mr. J. P. Thompson and family spent Sunday with the family of Mr. J. H. Clack. NE W MARKET.
