ENTERTAINS MATRONS’ CLUB. On last Thursday afternoon Mrs. K. H. Perry delightfully entertained he Young Matrons’ Club, at the home of her mothci, Mrs. W. A Pledger, on Sage street. The home was lx*autifdily dec orated for the occasion, yellow and green being the colors used. The brass j trdeniers, filled with golden rods, on tables and mantles, en hanced the beauty. An exciting contest was engaged in. Mrs. Mac Potts and Mrs. W l>. Johnson making the highest score, drew for first prize, a beauti ful card receiver, Mrs. Johnson winning. The consolation prize, a dainty ’kerchief, fell to Mrs. illel senbeek. A salad course and refreshing j.uncii were served. Mrs. Pledger, the hostess’ moth er, assisted in receiving.
