Our ginneries have ginned near one
thousand bales and are running on
full time.
The crop condition is looking
very fair in this community. The
co-operation meeting of the Chris
tian churches of the North Georgia
district will meet with the Statham
church, October 26 to 28, and a
large number of delegates will be
lure and the people of that
church are expecting a good meet
ing.
The Woodmen of the World,
Statham camp, will unveil a hand
some monument at the grave of
their fellow woodman, J. J. Booth,
at the Booth graveyard, on the
third Sunday in this month. The
ceremony and memorial exercises
will be held in the afternoon at 2
o’clock. An address will he deliv
ered upon the occasion. The pub
lic is invited to attend. This will
he a beautiful ccasion.
Miss Ailine Stone spent the week
end in Atlanta.

Segars, of Winder, were in our city
one day this week.
