Braselton Bros.
BIG OCTOBER SALE IS STILL GOING ON
All past records have been broken during this gigantic sale.
The people for miles away know when Braselton Brothers adver=
tise a big sale, that they will find the bargains when they come just
as represented. We never exaggerate in our advertisements. We
have been in business at the same old stand for twenty=two years,
and we expect to continue in business, and every man. woman and
child who deals with Braselton Brothers can trade with confi=
dence, and we assure you a square deal.
We have over twenty-five thousand dollars’ worth of new, fresh, up-to-date merchandise,
bought on a basis of 8 1-12 cent cotton, and we are giving our customers the benefit. You
can get more goods for same money and same goods for less money at Braseltons’. It will
pay you to drive miles to this big store and save money.

Crops are short in this neck of
the woods. Some of the farmers
are beginning to hump around to
see what can be done and what
con’t. We hear some of them say,
“I don't know what I will do ”
And ye scribe is wondering what
A ■ city folks are going to do.
If the farmer fails
And cannot buy,
Then the merchants' goods
On his shelf must lie.
If the farmer fails
And has nothing to sell,
Then the bankers’ accounts
Does not swell.
If the fanner fails
And has nothing to ship,
The railroad trains
Make an empty trip.
If the farmer fails
And hasn’t the money he ought,
Then the lawyers’ fees
Drops down a naught.
If the farmer fails
And hasn’t the bills,
Tljen the doctor
Ceases to roll his pills.
If the firmer fails
And cannot pay,
The school teachers’ accounts
Wait for another day.
If the farmer fails,
As sometimes fail he must,
The world’s business lags
And the wheels of commerce
rest.
But if the farmer succeeds,
As succeed he should,
We all look happy
And we ail feel good.
For upon the farmers’ broad
shoulders
All the rest do lie,
And sometimes the pile
Gets very very high.

This Is the Right Place
To Come For Furniture.
We are as euro of that as we
were ever sure of anything. Our
present problem is to convince all
those who may need Furniture of
this fact. Ten minutes spent in
the store will be more convincing
than a page of newspaper talk-
Glad to have the ladies drop in any
time they are down town. Always
something new to show them. If it
isn’t new arrivals in Bedsteads, its
Dining Room Furniture in artistic
designs, or its Couches or Tables,
or Chairs.
It may he this, that or the other
that we wish particularly to have
ladies look at,but it’s always some
thing. Impossible to bother us.
