Winder, were the guests of Mr. and

Sunday.

unveiling ceremony of the monu

Col. J. K. Holmes was in Athens

certainly welcome this good family

The crop condition in this section
is somewhat puzzling to us and we
are at a loss just how to report it.
Some fields are almost clean and
others have lots to open in them
yet, however the average will he
fair.
Mayor Niekelson was in Jefferson
one day this week on business.
The many friends of Mr. William
Harper are delighted to see him out
again after several days’ illness.

Dr. T. L. Holcome was at home
