Hoschton —Miss Flossie Young was the attractive hostess at a fare well party to the girls of the P. K. S. Club on Tuesday evening before leaving for Gainesville, where she will make her future home. Games were played and music rendered by Misses Curtis Adams and Lena Thompson. Afterwards a dainty course of re freshments was served. The party was composed of Misses Lena Thompson, Curtis Adams, Newell and Colena Darby, Ruth Wiley, and Eula Blalock. Miss Young is one of our most brilliant members and will be greatly missed by the cliib. LEBANON. Mr. (!. E. Smith and son, of Thy tira, spent Sunday here with rela tives, Mr. J. L. Doolittle and E. The last debate for the year 1909 of the Arcade Debating Society will be held at the Arcade school house next Saturday night. The Ih)\ supper at Arcade school house Saturday last was a glowing success in every particular. Sheriff B. H. Collier was on hand and sold the boxes in his usual way. Ben is the l>est auctioneer in the county. There were thirty-four boxes sold that brought over $50.00. The money went to pay for an organ for Arcade Sunday school. There was a large crowd present and every body enjoyed themselves to the high est possible degree.
