A story of laughter, love and of

THAT INQUISITIVE KID.
Are you raising a kid?
And does that kid drive you to
distraction at times by its inqui
sitiveness?
And do you at times Rise your
patience and tell it to “shut up
and stop bothering you?”
Don’t.
It is a good sign for the kid, for
it indicates a thirst for knowl
edge, a brain that is capable of ab
sorbing the wisdom of others.
It is a compliment to the par
ents who brought a child of more
world.
Let the kid ask questions—a
million of them, if it desires.
Answer them all carefully, and
accurately and intelligently, and
kindly, and see that it has a thor
ough understanding of each as you
go along.
Some day that kid will not be
asking questions. It will be an
swering the questions of others, in
stead.
Some day. indeed, it may be
solving problems that are too deep
even for you.
Then you will be proud of that
inquisitive kid. and it will be a
valuable asset to the community.
The simplest way for a woman
to charm a man is to be her own
natural sweet self. ' Veneer is •il
ly skin deep, and most men prefer
to look beneath it.

to make matters worse, who should

is it any wonder folks are talking?
Wise People and Food
r
Wise people can not be fooled on either the quality or
the price of foodstuffs.
Many of the wisest people in this community buy
their eatables from us from one year’s end to another.
There’s a reason—A GOOD REASON. Try it your
self and your own wisdom will tell you why so many
ot hers buy continuously trom us.
