Caught Whiskers in Safe.
In locking his safe one night prior
to his going home for supper George
Edgement, a paperhanger who lives
at Jefferson street and Hermitage lane,
Manayunk, shut the safe door upon his
flowing whiskers and was held until
released by his daughter.
Edgement had been out collecting
bills during the day. Returning to
his office he opened his safe and
placed the money in it. He then
threw the door shut, catching the end
of his heard in the door. In the ex
citement incident to his odd predica
ment he forgot the combination and
so could not release himself. With his
chin resting on the safe he was dis
covered about an hour after the acci
dent by his daughter, who came to
find what had delayed him. The safe
was broken open by a locksmith. —

"I have been treated by doctors for
twenty-five years for a bad case of eczema
on my leg. They did their best, but
failed to cure it. My doctor had advised
me to have my leg cut off. At this time
my leg was peeled from the knee, my foot
was like a piece of raw flesh, and I had to
walk on crutches. I bought a set of Cuti
cura Remedies. After the first two treat
ments the swelling went down, and in two
months my leg was cured and the new skin
came on. The doctor wag surprised and
said that he would use Cutieura for his
own patients. I have now been cured over
seven years, and but for the Cutieura Rem
edies I might have lost my life. Mrs. J. B.
