MR. WORSHAM TELLS
OF HOG CHOLERA SERUM
In the event that cholera
strikes your herd of hogs or that
of your neighbor’s you should
immediately have them inoculat
ed with serum which may be se
cured from State Veterinarian
Peter F. Bahnsen, State Capitol,
Atlanta, Ga., at a cost of 11 cents
per centimeter. I am prepared
to do the work for you without
charge, as I have recently pro
vided myself with instruments
for that purpose. Hog cholera
serum is a preventative and not
a cure; “an ounce of preven
tion is worth a pound of cure.”
The cost per hog for the serum
runs from 15c to 75c, according
to live weight. Whenever I can
serve you in this capacity I shall
be glad to do so.
Very respectfully,
H. L. Worsham,
County Agent.

STATE SUNDAY SCHOOLS
GOING TO AMERICUS
From the office of the Georgia
Sunday School Association, At
lanta, comes the information
that the Sunday School Conven
tion, which will be held in Amer
icus on April 20-21-22, will prob
ably be the largest Sunday school
meeting ever held in the state.
“On to Americus” seems to be
the thought in the minds of hun
dreds of Sunday school workers
over the state. The Americus
people are making big Drepara
tions for the convention, and are
planning to entertain at least one
thousand delegates. All dele
gates to the convention will be
entertained without cost while in
the city.
The program for the conven
tion is arranged to touch almost
every phase of Sunday school
work. The speakers are some
of the best Sunday school work
ers to be found in the state, and
each one is well informed on the
subject he is to discuss. The
speakers—more than sixty—will
not theorize, but will speak from
their own practical experience.
It is expected that many Sun
day schools will have a full dele
gation at the convention. Every
white Sunday school in the state
is entitled to three delegates, be
sides the pastor and superinten
dent. The program committee
feel that no Sunday school work
er could spend these three days
in Americus without being great
ly helped.

been extensively used throughout the
United States and also in South Amer

conditions—most successfully—thereby
proving their extreme durability and
superior value.

their own paint, and thereby save sixty
cents on every gallon used.
