Do Not Endanger Life When a
Jackson Citizen Shows You
How to Avoid It
Why will people continue to suffer
the agonies of kidney complaint, back
ache, urinary disorders, lameness,
headaches, languor, why allow them
selves to become chronic invalids,
when a tested remedy is offered them.
Doan’s Kidney Pills have been used
in kidney trouble over 60 years, have
been tested in thousands of cases.
If you have any, even one, of the
symptoms of kidney diseases, act now.

I. H. Miller, Pastor of Presbyterian
church, Mulberry st., Jackson, says:

morning. I had other symptons of
kidney trouble. I used Doan’s Kidney
Pills and they relieved the pains in my
back and the other symptoms of kid
ney trouble went away. I usually keep
Doan’s Kidney Pills on hand and
when my kidneys annoy me, they nev
er fail to give relief.”

BEWARE OF IMITATIONS
They imitate the Bottle
They imitate the Name,
But when you taste a substitute
You find it’s not same.
They imitate the Trade-Mark,
They imitate the Croyn,
But when you taste a substitute
You quickly put it down.
They imitate the Barrel,
They imitate the Keg,
But when you taste a substitute
You know they’ve pulled your leg;
They imitate the Ad,
They imitate the Sign,
But when you taste a substitute
You know you are out of line.
They imitate and imitate,
But find it is no use.
For all the imitations
Must finally vamose.

LETTERS FROM THE PEOPLE
The windows of heaven opened
and poured us out a delightful
rain. The sun-kissed wheat heads
are now laughing beneath the
blue sky and in a few weeks we
will have home-made biscuit on
our table and we then can ask
the money powers what they are
going to do about it.
The farmer who took time by
the forelock last fall and sowed
largely of small grain, $lO a bar
rel flour will not hurt him, but
will, of course, sympathize with
the fanner who didn’tsow grain.
And by the way. is there no
law to stop this thing called ha
zing in our colleges and high
schools? Mr. A. M. Watkins' 14
year-old son, when he left off his
tttttt
knee pants and put on long pants,
and went to school in Jackson
was set upon by the other stu
dents and beaten with barrel
staves and sticks until he fainted
and had two of his fingers broken.
And we are told that the princi
pal of the school knew it was go
ing on and didn’t try to stop it,
and now refuses to punish the
guilty parties. Now, if there
isn’t a law against all such for
the sake of common decency let
the legislature of Georgia pass a
law against it.
