and will not be here longer.

pleasant visit in Atlanta.

with Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Smith.
Mr. S. L. Thompson is spend
ing this week at Stockbridge on
business.
Rev. and Mrs. J. T. Pendley
and little Miss Louise Pendley
have returned from Rome where
they were called on account of
the illness of Mr. Pendley’s fath
er.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Bryant
Thompson, of Jackson, Mr. and
Mrs. J. A. Thompson, of Griffin,
were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H.
T. Thompson. Mrs. J. A. Thomp
son and young son, Aldine, will
remain for a ten days visit.

SCHOOL NEWS
The champion Debate between
the Seniors and Juniors will take
place Friday evening, May 5, at
the school auditorium. Every
body is invited. No admission
fee will be charged. The two
classes will give a street parade
Friday afternoon at four o’clock.
Mr. Caldwell, a represenative
from Tech, visited us last week
and complimented the work of
the High School very highly.
Mr. C. L. Carter was also a
visitor to the school Wednesday.
