FARMERS INSTITUTE TO BE
HELD AT INDIAN SPRINGS
Place ot Meeting Changed;
Date Is Tuesday, July 25th
Announcement is made this
week that the Farmers Institute
and Field Meet will be held at
Indian Springs instead of at Mr.
J. H. Patrick’s. This action was
taken, it was said, because it was
thought it would be possible to
get a larger crowd at Indian
Srings and because of the con
veniences there. Indian Springs
is particularly well adapted to
such gatherings, being easily ac
cessable to all parts of the county,
and has all conveniences and com
forts for ladies.
The Institute will be held on
Tuesday, July 25. A good pro
gram has been arranged and sev
eral well known speakers will be
present from the State College of
Agriculture at Athens.
PROMOTION FOR TWO
MEMBERS OF CO. A
Second Not to Leave Be
fore Next Week
It is announced from Camp
Harris this week that Private
Bernard Knowles has been pro
moted to a coporal and Private
Charles S. Johnson to a sergeant.
The latest statement is to the
effect that the Second regiment
will not leave Macon before Mon
day, or probably later, being de
layed on account of equipment.

UNCEASING MISERY
Some Jackson Sufferers
Get Little or
Comfort
There is little sleep, little rest, little
peace for many a sutterer from kidney
trouble. Life is one continual round
of pain. You can't rest at night when
there’s kidney backache. You suffer
twinges and "stabs” of pain, annoying
urinary disorders, lameness and nerv
ousness. You can’t be comfortable at
work with darting pains and blinding
dizzy spells. Neglect these ailments
and serious troubles may follow. Be
gin using Doan’s Kidney Pills at the
first sign of disorder. Thousands have
testified to their merit.
Proof in Jackson testimony:
Mrs. J. R. Thurston, Brookwood
Ave., Jackson, says: "I strained my
back while house-cleaning and my kid
neys became overtaxed. I suffered so
that I had to put pillows under my
back and I was so sore that I couldn’t
stoop over. The kidney secretions
caused me much annoyance. 1
procured Doans’ Kidney pills from
Slaton Drug Cos. and they relieved the
pains in my back and all symptoms of
kidney trouble disappeared*.”
Price 50c at all dealers. Don’t sim
ply ask for a kidney remedy—get
Doan's Kidney Pills—the same that
