ACIDS IN STOMACH
SOUR THE FOOD ANO
CAUSE INDIGESTION
“Pape’s .Diapepsin” Fixes
Sick, Sour, Upset Stomachs
in Five Minutes
You don’t know what upset your
stomach —which portion of food did
the damage—do you? Well, don’t
bother. If your stomach is in a revolt,
if sick gassy and up set, and what you
just ate has fermented and turned
sour; head dizzy and aches; belcg
gases and acids and eructate undi
gested food; breath foul, tongue coat
ed—just take a little Pape’s Diapep
sin to neutralize acidity and in five
minutes you wonder what became of
the indigestion and distress.
Millions of men and women today
know that it is needless to have dys
pepsia. A libtle Diapepsin occasion
ally keeps the stomach sweetened,
and they eat their favorite foods
without feur.
If your stomach doesn’t take care
of your liberal limit without rebel
lion; if your food is a damage in
stead of a help, remember the quick
est, surest and most harmless anti
acid is Pape’s Diapepsin, which costs
only fifty cents for a large case at
drug stores. It is truly wonderful —
it stops food Bouring and sets things
straight, so gently and easily that it
is really astonishing. Your stomach
will digest your meals if you will keep
acids neutralized, advt.

|
Many Jackson People Know the Im
portance of Healthy Kidney*
The kidneys filter the blood.
They work night and day.
Well kidneys remove impurities.
Weak kidneys allow impurities to
multiply.
No kidney ill should be neglected.
There is possible danger in delay.
If you have backache or urinary
troubles,
If you are nervous, dizzy or worn
out,
Begin treating your kidneys at
once;
Use a proven kidney remedy.
None endorsed like Doan’s Kid
ney Pills.
Recommended by thousands.
Proved by Macon testimony.
A. J. Sammons, 123 Lawton Ave.,
Macon, Ga., says: “I suffered from
kidney complaint and got little rest
day or night. I had constant back
aches and lumbago. My kidneys act
ed irregularly and I had bladder
trouble. I bought Doan’s Kidney
Pills, at Abel’s Drug Store and they
helped me from the first. Two boxes
rid me of the backaches and put my
kidneys in good order. I can now
walk without my back troubling me
in the least and I give Doan’s Kid
ney Pills the credit.”
Price 60c at all dealers. Don’t
simply ask for a kidney remedy—get

REPORTED THAT JACKSON BOY
WAS ON TORPEDOED TUSCANIA
Developed That Soldier Was From
Another Town
For a time it was thought that
Jackson figured in the sinking of the
British transport Tuseania off the
Irish coast by a German torpedo, last*
week. One of the ten Georgians on
the transport was Charles D. Arcn
dell, whose address was given as Jack
son. It developed later, however, that
Arendell was from another town, his
latest address being given as Jackson
ville, which is in Telfair county.
The local correspondent of the At
lanta Journal received the following
dispatch last Friday:
“Charles D. Arendell, Jackson boy,
said to have been on Tuseania. In
terview family. Wire immediately
when they receive news of his fate.
Rush photograph of Arendell by ear
liest mail possible."
