Protecting Your Children
The long, hard school term drains the vitality of growing
children and you wonder why they are listless, puny and pale.
Every school child will show marked improvement

HOTTJ EMULSION
Its rich, uniform cod liver oil gets into their blood and gives them vim,
fsnap and zest It creates strength to resist school sicknesses,
overcome pinched faces, sallow complexions and dull eyes.
High authorities have established again and again that cod
liver oil promotes growth and energizes the body and brain.
The imported Norwegian cod liver oil always used in Scott't Emultion is now
refined in our own American laboratories which guarantees it free from impurities.

BUTTS COUNTY BOYS
IN FRANCE fill WELL
In letters received during the past
week by Mrs. S. C. Biles from her
son, Kirk, who is “somewhere” in
France, the gratifying news is brought
that all of the Butts county boys with
the Rainbow Division are vjll. It has
been reported recently that there had
been casualties among the Butts
county boys, and as often as the re
port was denied it bobbed up again.
It is pleasing to know that the boys
are in the best of health and eager to
get a lick at the Hans.
Mr. Biles who is a stable sergeant
is not required to go in the
trenches, spoke of having been in the
trenches on two different occasions.
The family of Mr. Joe Watkins
have also received letters from him
recently, to the same effect that all
the Butts county boys with the 151st
Machine Gun battalion are well. Only
one man in the Rainbow Division has
been kilfed so far.

Buy a Liberty Bond
It is a good buy for you and a good bye for Kaiser Bill.
Automobile owners can save enough on their tires in a short time to
buy a Liberty Bond. Tire expense is the greatest expense connected
with the automobile. A set of medium size tires co& one hundred
and fifty dollars, and the life of them in miles is approximately 5,000
miles, often less. But if repaired at the proper time 10,000 to 15,000
miles is possible with any standard tire.
Do you know how Maurice Costello, the popular movie star, got
over 25,000 miles from a set of tires and won the Ajax tire prize? Sim
ply by keeping his tires properly inflated and having all cuts repaired
as soon as they appeared. You, too, can do the same—and save
enough to buy a Liberty Bond.
There is not one tire in one hundred thrown away because it is worn
out. They get a small cut and are neglected, the water gets in and
rots the fabric and causes a blow out. Then the tire is thrown away
—when if repaired at the proper time one would get double the mile
age. Tire repairing is not an expensive item —as all repairs are guar
anteed to be as good as the of the tire or will be repaired again
without charge—and prices are as follows.
' Tube punctures 25c
Tube cuts 25c and up
Tire cuts 50c and up
Rim cuts and blow outs $1.25 and up
We have installed a Vulcanizer of large capacity (70 tires and 450
tubes a day) and can get your work out at once. We can repair any
thing that can happen to a tire or tube.
We also do automobile repairing of the better class at moderate pri
ces. Radiator, storage battery and electrical work a specialty. If
you need a used car we have it. If you want to sell your car we will
buy it. Yours for service and satisfaction.
