An All-year-’round
Soft Drink
for the Bluejackets
Our boys in the navy enjoy their
Bevo. The esteem in which it is
held by the Navy Department is
clearly indicated by the fact that
it is sold and served on U. S.
vessels and in training camps.
Afloat or ashore, you will find
Bevo unusually refreshing, good
and healthful.
Soft in the strictest sense, but a
thoroughgoing man’s drink. Try
it by itself, or with a bite to eat.
Served everywhere —families
supplied by grocers, druggists V,^

PIG CLUB MEMBERS
REALIZE GOOD PROFIT
As an evidence of the good work
being accomplished by the members
of the Butts county Pip: Club, an
nouncement is made of the purchase
of seven pure b red Berkshire pips
from Leonard and Lewis Dodson for
S7O, and six pigs from Oscar Nolen
for S6O. These pips were boupht by
Messrs. 0. N. Brownlee and J. H.
Blackwell for use of members of the
local pip club.
The pips boupht of the Messrs.
Dodson, who are members of the Pip-
Club, were from sows entered at the
Butts county fair lust fall and win
ners of first and second prize. They
still have eipht pips for sale, and
these will be purchased later, possibly.
Mr. Blackwell states that seven
sows, entered in the club work last
year, have farrowed 63 pips. The
county apent wishes it known that he
Wants to patronize local pip club mem
bers whenever possible, and where
the boys have pure b red pips for sale
he is trying to place them with other
club members. It has been necessary
this year to buy several pips out of
tin* county and state.
Durinp the past year or so there
has been a notable increase in the
number of pure bred swine in Butts
county, and within a few years this
industry is destined to be a profitable
one, as the pure b red animals sell
for about twice the price of prude
pips.
