Mr. McMichael’s parents are

of Jackson.
The bride wore a white wed
ding dress and only the parents
of the couple and a few close
friends were present for the wed
ding.
Mr. and Mrs. McMichael will
make their home in Jackson.

COOK FAMILY REUNION
The annual birthday dinner of
the late C. W. Cook family met
Sunday, May 28th, at the Iron
Springs Clubhouse, this being the
41st year they have heen having
this gathering. Several birthdays
of the family come in May, with
Mr. Cook’s and one of his sons,
Mr. A. G. Cook, coming on the
26th; another son, A. A. Cook, on
May 28th.
Present Sunday were 114 to
enjoy the day. Mrs. S. A. Elliott
brought the group up to date on
some of the past history of the
Cook family which proved very
interesting. A bountiful meal was
enjoyed by the group.

Lakeland, Florida will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary
on June 17th, 1972 at Indian
State Park.
Friends and the family of the
couple plan to meet at Indian
Springs for a covered dish lunch
eon to help Mr. and Mrs. Duke
celebrate this happy occasion. All
friends of the couple are invited.
Mrs. Duke, the former Irene
Blissett, was reared in Juliette,
Ga. Kennie Duke was reared in
Stark and was a member of Mace
donia Baptist Church. They were
married by the Rev. R. S. Cham
bless at his home on July 2, 1922
at Juliette, Ga.

three o’clock in the afternoon on
