leagues for both boys and
girls, ages as follows: Junior
League - 14 and under;

and girls, $3.
You may register between
now and Thursday, Decem

you can’t make it during
these hours, come by the high

between 10 and 12 noon.
The Recreation Depart
ment is looking for volunteer
coaches for both boys and
girls basketball teams. If
interested, please get in
touch with the Recreation
Department.
The gym will be open on
the days your school age
children are on vacation, so
bring them down between the
hours of 10 and 12 and 1 and 3
p.m.
The past weekend proved
to be a great time at
Avondale Park. Over 100
football participants braved
the wet weather and enjoyed
the cook-out. There were
games and lots of things to do
and plenty of hot dogs to eat.
Everyone seemed to enjoy
themselves.
Results of the Men’s
Church League Volleyball -
second half: First Baptist,
Ist place, won 6 and lost
none; First Methodist No. 1
and St. Mary’s, tied for 2nd
