Jinks of Stone Mountain were
visiting in the community
last Sunday and attended
worship services at Mace
donia Church.
Mr. James B. Williamson
and a little neighbor,
4-year-old Brian Poe of
Macon, were spend the day
guests of Mrs. Lillian
Williamson, on Saturday
prior to Labor day. Guests
Friday for lunch last week
were Mr. James B. William
son of Macon and Rev. Bob
Williamson of Savannah.
Mrs. Helen Welch of Union
Point was a visitor on Labor
Day weekend of Mr. and Mrs.
Perry O’Neal.
Mrs. Evelyn Price went by
plane for a weekend visit
with her daughter and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Paris and two daughters in
Panama City, Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Nash
and Mrs. Nash’s sister, Mrs.
Lavonia Greene of Cleve
land, are spending a two
week’s vacation at Daytona,
Fla. and will visit other
numerous places of interest
over the state.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Reese, Ricky Reese and Miss
Freda Bertram visited Mr.
and Mrs. Eddie Reese and
Stacy in Conley on Labor
Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Kersey
left Monday for a week’s
vacation at Daytona Beach,
Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey
Hoard and Debbie of Law
renceville spent Monday with
Mr. and Mrs. Buck Hoard
and Wayne.
Mrs. Robert Ferrell had as
Labor Day guest her brother,
Mr, Walter Morris, of
Atlanta.

Morgan, Miss Mary Lou

Smith had as their guests on
Labor Day Mrs. Harvey

Dennis, of Warrenton, Va.,

Mrs. Carolyn Morgan, An

morning to return to their

Mr. and Mrs. Tommy
McMichael, Gregg and Gail,
of Atlanta visited Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Jim
McMichael.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dewitt
of Roswell visited Mr. and
Mrs. Jim McMichael and Mr.
and Mrs. Emerson McMi
chael on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry
Hunter, Jennifer and Brian,
and Miss Carolyn Mullis of
Smyrna were Labor Day
weekend guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Thurmon Mullis and all
attended church services at
Macedonia on Sunday. Miss
Carolyn Mullis, also, spent
the current weekend with her
parents.
Mrs. Cecil Beal flew to
Chicago, 111. prior to the
holiday weekend. There, she
enjoyed a delightful week’s
visit with Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Cobb, formerly of
Jackson. She returned home
on Labor Day via a Delta
Airline Flight.
Latest reports from little
Lee Speer, in the Minnesota
University Hospital, indicate
that he is doing fine. His
grandmother, Mrs. Margaret
Stephens, said Monday that
his appetite was much
improved and that he was
cheerful. He is expected to
undergo his first surgery by
the end of this week, then
when he is sufficiently
recovered he will receive a
kidney donated by his father,
who has already been tested
and the doctors say that
everything is pointing to a
successful transplant. His
family and their many
friends are elated over his
progress and very hopeful for
