Convcnliofis of rhygtclnna pro**
nonneoit a wi!2d form ot Scarlatina
but say there is no danger of an
epidemic.
On Monday, owing to the reports
of Scarlet fever beiug in town and
tho disagreement of some of the Phy¬
sicians, the citizens asked a number
of Physicians from other places, to
meet with the home board and deter¬
mine the nature of the disease that
has caused such a scare among cur
neighboring towns and surrounding
country. At 12 o’clock m. tlie fol¬
lowing Physicians met and visited the
patients who were thought to have
the fever, l>r. Rogers of Coleman, Dr.
Thompson of Bluffton, Dr. Fowler of
Alabama, and Drs. Gunn, Hatchett,
Mandeville, Dobbins and Wimberly
of this place-after consulting, they
pronounce it a mild form of scarlatina.
Why such an excitement should
have been caused by this disease
we can’t eoi.cieveas it has
been and is now scattered
over tho whole country for miles
around and has prevailed above here
all the summer and we have not
heard of a single death from it, somo
of the children have been quito 6ick
but in most cases have recovered in
two or three days, which could not
be the case if had been malignant
scarlet fever.
We can say to those living in the
country, come on to town ami fear
nothing, as you will be in no more
danger of contracting the Scarlatina
here, than anywhere in the country.
PHYSICIANS’ REPORT.
Fort Gaines, Ge., Sop. 8th 1890.
At a meeting of a board of phy*
sicians in and around Fort Gaines
called by tho mavof, having for its
object to pass judgement upon a
typo of disease which has recontly
made its appearanco in the city, it
is declared to bo the unanamous
of said board that the dis¬
ease is Scarlatina of a Mild Type,
ur.d wo would lurthor state for the
benefit of the public that adult par¬
ties visiting tho city to trado or
for other purposes would take no
risk, ns it is an affection confined
mainly to young childrcd.
Also it is the senso of the board
that Dr. Docbins is entitled to
commendation for Ins manly course
in giving up his practioe for the
time being that he may uot com¬
municate the diseaso to others.

Blood Disease.
Blood diseases are torrible on account
of their loathsome nature, and the factr
that they wreck the constitution so com¬
pletely unless the proper antidoto is ap¬
plied. B.B.B. (Botanic Blood Balm) Is
composed of the true antidete for blood
poison . Its use never sails to give satis¬
faction.
Mrs. Laura Hart, Boauford, 8. C.,
w.ites: “A loathsome form of blood pois¬
on was killing me me. My api etite was
lost, my bones ached, and parts of my
flesh secmocl os if it would como off my
banes. A friend brought mc’4 bottle ot
B. B. B. Th» sores began healing at once
and when I had taken two bottles I sur¬
prised my friends at my rapid recovery.”
A. W. Bryant, Moody Texas, writes;
“I hod an agonizing case of Salt Rheum
for four years, which medicino I took ouly
ieemed to aggravate until I found B. B.B.
It cured my hand which resembles a burnt
surface. It also cured my two children
of itch, which had resisted previous treat¬
