That they desire for themselves
and associates to form a corporation
to be known as the Empire Cotton
Company, the principal office and
place of business of such corporation
to be at Empire, Dodge county,
Georgia, and the capital stock to lie
five thousand dollars, divided into
500 shares.of ten dollars each.
The purpose of the corporation is
to build and conduct a cotton gin
nery and cotton warehouse, buy
and sell cotton, cotton seed, guano,
Ragging and ties, and do such other
things as are usually incident to the
operation of a ginnery and ware
house.
Ten per cent of the amount of
capital stock has been paid in, and
petitioners desire to be incorporated
for a perks! of twenty years, with
the privilege of increasing their cap
ital stock to $25,000.
Wherefore petitioners ask that
they be incorporated as above set
forth, this application having been
published as required by law.
