Patrick and children have returned from Atlanta, after a visit to Mrs. C. R. Hooks. Mr. and Mrs. Rush Luttrell have returned to Calera, Ala., after spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Bailey. Wynne who has been in Atlanta for several days returned home Sunday. Miss Sarah Mullis is visiting in Clarksville, Ga., this week. 0. R. Willis, who has been in Hawkinsville for some time doing contract work, was in the city Tues day. Miss Marion Baker, who has been spending vacation with her aunt, Mrs. T. L. Bailey, left for Ca lera, Ala., Thursday night. She will leave there in a few days to at tend school at Florence University, Florence, Ala. Mrs. Burch and her daughter, Miss Florie May, of Fitzgerald, are visiting family of Mrs. S. F. Jessup. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Harris, of Jacksonville, Fla., are visiting re latives in the city. Miss Janie Meadows, of Cary, visited her cousin, Miss Rosa last week. Mrs. I>eo H. Browning who has been visiting relatives in South Carolina, returned home Sunday. Mrs. Hughes, of Greenville, S. C. is visiting her daughter, Mrs. L. H. Browning. Dave Munn, of Macon, a popular conductor on the Southern Railway is visiting his parents near Cochran. Guy Jackson is spending his va cation at Ashville, N. C. Mrs. J. P. Crutchfield, of Milan, Ga., visited her mother, Mrs. E. P. Collins Sunday. Mrs. Theo Partin, of Macon, visi ted her mother, Mrs. E. P. Collins Sunday. Miss Lucy Reddy visited Haw kinsville this week. Miss Alice Daly is in Atlanta this week purchasing her fall stock of millinery. J. P. Roosevelt, of Macon, re turned home Tuesday after being in the city several days and shipping out a nice lot of cotton. Presiding Elder T,. J. Ballard preached two fine sermons here, Sunday. Mr. Will McMillan, of Tennille, representing the Dixie Cotton Co., will buy cotton in Cochran this sea son. We welcome Mr. McMillan to our city. Roht. L. Walker has returned from Atlantic City, lie reports a fine time. Mrs. John Urquhart and children left Tuesday for Macon to visit her sister, Mrs. Carpenter. Mis Sarah Coley, of Valdosta, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Coley. Mrs. .T. J. Taylor returned Mon day after a few days days stay at the camp meeting. Mrs. J. P. Chatfield and children have returned to their home in Sparks, Ga., after a visit to Mrs. Asa Brantley. Mrs. J. C. Dunham, Mrs Charlie Mullis and little sow Bill have gone to Domorest to spend a few weeks. Miss Mattie Towler is at home again after a visit to Rev and Mrs. H. P. Meyers at the camp grounds.
