all right thinking people. The At

the room is under arrest .
Other women involved in the* cl

Is it a brand of commercialism? l

an absolute shame. The average man

he needs it. —Macon Telegraph.
“Our “noodle” is too dense to
grasp the meaning. We cannot see
what Mr. Clay getting to Congress
would have to do with securing fe
male suffrage for Georgia. Proha
bly the Telegraph intended to pre
dict that Mr. Clay would never get
to Congress, that woman’s suffrage
would never he secured for Georgia,
and that Mr. Stanley’s courtesy to
the ladies would never l>e politically
rewarded. All of which, if true,
would not in the least deter Stan
ley from continuing his courtesies
to the ladies and doing everything
in bis power to relieve their lives
from undue hardships. He is just
built that way, politics or no puli
tics. At the same time there is
■nothing to prohibit the men of the
Twelfth district from sending Stan
ley to Congress before either of the
events mentioned by the Telegraph
transpire, in the event such a no
tion should strike their fancy. —

Telephone Saved Child's Life
One of the children fell into a water tank on
an Alabama farm and was rescued unconscious and
apparently lifeless. The frantic mother rushed to
the telephone and called the doctor six miles away.
He told her what to do and started at once, but
before he arrived the child was out of danger.
The protection of women and children is only
one of the chief values of the telephone on the
farm.
You can have this service at small cost. See
the nearest Bell Telephone Manager or send a
postal for our free booklet.
