A Southern Candidate.
Bryan says if the Democrats
arc to run a Southern man for
president that Hoke Smith is the
person. If Bryan will nominate
-Tolse Smith we’ll second the
motion. Waycross Herald.
The suggestion that the new
governor of Georgia be made
president has not come directly
from Mr. Bryan. However, it
would receive a good deal of
sanction through the state and
the South and the Nebraska
statesman, himself, is accused of
saying many good things about
