T. J. McDonald Dead.
Mr. T. J, McDonald is dead. lie
breathed his last on Saturday at 12
o’clock a t this place.
For some weeks he ha been ailing
with the measles and three days be
fore his death he wis siezed with a
violent case of dysent ry and his
strength was not sufficient to brook
him through it.
With the death of Mr. McDonald
e ids one of the sad tragedies oi life.
He was the same who was indicted
for manslaughter by the last grand
jury for the killing of George McDon
ald at Parkonia on Christmas day.
Mr. McDonald was quiet, inoffen
sive man and the fact that he was able
to give a $7,000,00 bond is sufficient
proof that people trusted him.
His case has gone to a higher court
where there is a just Judge who
judges according to our motives and
who considers our frame which He
knows to Lc du*t.
Mr McDonald leaves a wife and
six children with whom we deeply
sympathize.

On last Sunday at her home near
Mr. Henry Vickers’, Mrs. John Hutch
ison passed away after one day’s ill
ness.
On Saturday she was taken with a
severe pain in the head and this con
tinued till Sunday morning when
Dr. Sibbett was sent for. He went
out to see her and arrived about
twelve o’clock. A few minutes before
he walked in the house, Mrs. Hutchi
son turned over ou her side and ap
peared to get easy. Her husband sat
by the bedside and an old granny held
her hand. When the doctor walked in
lie was tol l that she was easy and had
gone to sleep. Too surely was this
true; for when betook her hand to
feel of her pulse, lo she was dead! Her
pain was easy and she was sleeping
her last long sleep.
Mrs. Hutchison was about forty
vears old and leaves a husband and
