This Card Will Explain Itself.
Dear Bro. Freeman:
Please allow me the privilege of I
saying through the Breeze, that
some time ago it became necessary
for me to object to a meeting an
nounced for the camp ground, pro
jected by Rev. A. B. Finley. The
idea has been conceived by some
that this objection was based on a
denominational difference or preju
dice. This is not true, the ob
jection was personal for reasons
which I stated to Mr. Finley per
sonally. I am sure that the board of
trustees, who are, Jesse Lott. C. A.
Ward, Joel Gaskin, J. S. Lott,
R. S. Smith, John McLean. Green
Hall, B. Peterson and Elias Lott
will cheerfully accord to our Bap
tist brethren the use of the camp
ground at any time when it would
not conflict with our annual meet
ing.
