lARKTHESEFACTS!
The TESTIMONY of the WHOLE WOULD.
HOLLOWAY’S OINTMENT.
Bad Legs. Bad 3reasts, Sores and Ulcers.
Atx description of Morcanro remedial by the proper
and diligent use of titirt inestimable preparation. To
attempt to (Mire bad legs by plastering the edges of
the wound together is a folly; for should llm skin
unite, a boggy diseased condition remains tinder
neath to break out w ith tenfold fury in a few days.
Tin* only rational and successful treatment, as indi
cated by nature, is to rodueo the intlammation in and
about tiie wound and to soothe the neighboring parts
by rubbing in ph uty of the (imtmeut. as salt is forc
ed into meat. This will cause the malignant humors
to Im* drained off' from tin* hard, swollen, and discol
ored parts round about the wound, sore, or ulcer,
and when these humors are removed, the wounds
themselves will soon heal; warm bread and water
poultices applied over the affected parts, after the
Ointment has been well rubbed in, w ill sootln* and
soften the same and greatly assist the cure. There
is a description of ulcer, sure and swelling, w hich
need not be named hen*, attendant upon the tollies
of youth, and for w hich this Ointment is urgently
recommended as a sovereign remedy. In curing
such poisonous sores it never fails to restore the sys
tem to a healthy state if the Pills betaken according
to the printed instructions.
Diphtheria, Ulcerated Sore Throat Scar
let and other Fevers.
Any of the above diseases may bo cured by well
rubbing the Ointment three times a day into the
chest, tlimit, and neck of th e patient ; it will soon
penetrate and give immediate relief. Medicine taken
by the mouth must operate upon the whole system
ere its influence can he felt in any localpart, w hereas
the Ointment w ill do its work at once. Whoever
tries the unguent in tin* above manner for tlm dis
eases named, or any similar disorders affecting the
chest ami throat, w ill tind themselves relieved as by
a charm. All sufferers ivom these complaints should
euvelop the throat ai bedtime in a largo bread and
water poultice, after the Ointment has been well
rubbed in ; it will greatly assist tin* cure of tin*
throat ami chest. To allay the fever and lessen the
iutlau niation. right r ten Pills should he taken
night and morning. The Ointment w ill produce per
spiration, tin* grand essential in all eases of fevers,
sor* throats, or where there might be an oppression
of the chest, either from asthma or other causes.
Piles, Fistulas, Strictures.
The above class of complaint* v ill be removed by
nightly fomenting tin* parts with warm water, and
then b\ most etfeetually rubbing in the Ointment.
Persons suffering from these direful complaints
should lose not a moment in arresting their progress.
It should be understood that it is not sufficient mere
ly to smear the Ointment on the affected parts, but
it must be well rubbed in for a considerable time two
or three times a day. that it may be taken into the
system, w hence it will remove any bidden sore or
wound us effectually as though palpable to the eye.
There again bread and water poultices, after the rub
bing in of the Ointment, will do great service. This
is the only sure treatment for females, eases of can
cer in the stomach, or where there may be a general
bearing down.
Sores and Ulcers.
Blotches. as also swellings, ran, with certainty, be
radically cured if the Ointment be used freely, and
the Pills taken night and morning, as recommended
in the printed instructions. When treated in any
other way they only dry up in one place to break out
in another; whereas this Ointment will remove the
humor from the system, and leave the patient a vig
orous and liealt hv being. It will require time w ith
the use of the Pills to insure a lasting cure.
Dropsical Swellings, Paralysis and Stiff
Joints.
Although the nlmvo complaints (lifter widely in
their origin mid nature. yet they nil lecture local
treatment. Main of the worst cases of sueh <lis
eases will yield in a comparatively short space of
time when’thin Ointment is diligently rubbed into
the parts atl'eeted, even after every other means have
failed. In all serious maladies the Utils should he
taken ncemiiing to the printed directions accom
panying each box.

My (loud Man, What (Jives You I’alu t
BROKEN PROMISES
AND UNPAID DEBTS!
We do not say that xVLL .MEN are liar* .-
but that we owe debts which MUST HE
PAID, and if our GOOD PROMPT-PAY
ING customers do not help us, to whom
must we look ? Some men would let ua
talk ourselves to death, or die iu the poor
house rather than use any exertion to pay
what they owe us. We are glad that all
men are not so. Many of our good friends
are coming up with cotton and money TO
HELP US OUT. Let others do likewise.
Some need but to be reminded. Those
who want full prices for their cotton, and
who desire to render us a real favor, will
come early, we know.
Do not take offence, for none is intended.
We simply need inonev and are not. asham
to tell you so. WE MUST 11A X E IT.
