Mrs. Clovis Thrasher and little.

turned after a visit of two weeks
to Mrs. Thrasher’s mother, Mrs

Major J. Lewis At Home.
Scores of friends in town and
county will be delighted to know that
Mr M. J. Lewis has recently return
ed to the old homeplace near Cedar
Creek, and is enjoying good health.

Little Miss Elsie Alfotd celebrated
her sixth birthday last Friday. May

boys and girls were invited, the
event occurring at the home of El

Many pretty and useful presents
were received by the little girl.

out the color scheme of pink and
white.
After many games the little folks
left wishing Elsie many more happy

Hartwell Loses, 7-6.
Gainesville High defeated Hartwell
| High Tuesday afternoon in a fast
ten-innmg game, the final score being
| 7-6 m favor of Gainesville.

runs in the ninth. Hartwell came

' runs, which were not sufficient to
give her the victory.
