tion be confirmed by that body as
the senator of the twenty-first
scuatoriel district;

Resolve (1), That our fight is not
a personal character, neither is it
for political preferment, but for
pure democracy in all that the term
implies, and to rid the county of
one man domination that lias dic
tated tho politics and named the

past ton or twenty years.
Resolved (2), That harmony is a
term not known to tlioso opposing
democratic organization in practice.
Their policy has invariably been to
