537 FRIDAY, JUM E 9 1882.
TO TALIAFERRO PEOPLE.
As above can be seen we have placed
the head of The Sharon Democrat
t.Yd* this page. The rc%soij that led to
this can ’.e briefly told. Sharon is *
growing town, full of vim and energy
and , the people , are '-,i lit eral supporteis
of The Democr at. At the earnest
sclicitation of the merchants wc have
set aside a i ortion i i Tub Democrat
to be devoted to that section of Talia
ferro county. In this depait
ment will be g ven the improvements
around Sharon and Raytown ; ndeffort
will be spared by us to build up the
town and , aid ., m . every way a newspa
per can aid, to improve that portion of
the county. Now, w having " taken this
step we shall expect everv person near
Shaion and Baytown to take a person¬
al interest in the paper, only asking
of tliem that they Use every effort to
extend the circulation of the paper, and
give us a broader field in which to
work.
This much we shall expect, and our
warrant is that we will leave nothing
on our part undone which will tend to
Tiefit that section and all sections of
Taliaferro county.
Now vve do not wish it to be under
stood that The Sharon Democrat

Mr. James A. Kemlrlck, one of the
liffe-t merchants of that section, will
have control of that department, will
receive subscriptions and advertise

The editors, will, however, assist Mr.
