popular summer resort.
Mrs. C. R. Smith left Tuesday
for Sharon, where she expects to
remain until the heated summer
months have passed.
A large number of people who
attended campmeeting, were glad
to find accommodations there in
a public eating room and cold
drinks (non-intoxicant) on sale.
Miss Viola Kilpatrick is off to
Albany and Tifton on a visit. The
telephone subscribers miss her
gentle Hello, but have the sweet
assurance that she will soon return
to her place at the switchboard.
Quite a number of our people
went to Savannah last Monday on
the excursion train that was run
over the G. – A. road. And a
larg 3 number of the excursionists
went down from Savannah to
Tybee to take a dip under and
over the cooling breakers.
