carry a bushel of coru to mill, and Mr.
Manly Johnson, who is in his ninetieth
year, can still read without species.
Mr. Reese Carter and Mr. Charlie
Ritchie caught a wild cat Wednesday.
While trying to shake the cat from the
tree Mr. Parker fell and broke his leg.
We hope he will nurse his leg patiently
and soon be able to shake anothei one
out.
An Entire Family Poisoned.
From the Banks County Journal
, The family of jack Andrews,
consisting of lnniself, wife and sev
en children, was poisoned Sunday,
how, when, nor what is not known.
The family was at church Sunday
and immediately befoje or after
reaching home a 14 year old daught
er was taken violently J sick and
died of locKjaw about sundown.
A little boy was taken about 8 o’
clock in the afternoon and died in
the same way about 5 o'clock Mon-
day morning. The.other children
are quite sick and it ts very proba
ble that another of the children
will die. Dr. Lothridge was sum
moned early Sunday afterhoon, but
it was too late to relieve the two
that died. Many are [the theories.'
