NEGRO WOMAN SHOOTS
NEGRO MAN
name was not given.
It seems from the reports that
the negroes were • engaged in a
game of cards when the woman
became angered and threatened
to shoot one of the men and left
the game for her pistol and upon
returning opened fire. The man
whom she intended to shoot was
standing directly in front of an
other and when the gun was
pointed at him he dropped and
escaped the bullet intended for
him but the man standing behind
him received the shot and was
seriously wounded, the shot
the right breast.
Sheriff Rickman landed the
woman in jail and the man has
been sent to a hospital.
