If You Keed a Medicine
You Should Have the Best-
Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Hoot
Have you ever stopped to reason why
it is that so mafcy products that are ex
tensively advertised all at once drop out
of sight and are soon forgotten? The
reason is plain—the article did not fulfill
the promises of the manufacturer. This
applies more particularly to a medicine.
A medicinal preparation that has real
curative value almost sells itself, as like
an endless chain system, the remedy is
recommended by those who have been
benefited to those who are in need of it.
A prominent druggist says, “Take for
example Dr. Kilmer’s Swamp-Hoot, a
preparation I have sold for many years
and never hesitate to recommend, for in
almost every case it shows excellent re
sults, as many of my customers testify.
No other kidney remedy has so large a
sale."
According to sworn statements and
verified testimony of thonsands who have
used the preparation, the success of Dr.,
Kilmer's Swamp-Root is due to the fact,
so many people claim, that it fulfills almost
every wiih in overcoming kidney* liver
and bladder ailments, corrects urinary
troubles and neutralizes the urio acid
which causes rheumatism.
You may receive a sample bottle at
Swamp-Root by parcel post. Address Dr.
Kilmer A Co., Binghamton, N. Y., and

with their weakness and told them
that Egypt was a broken reed that
would not only fan of support but
even pierce the hand that reached
out to it. He challenged them by
offering 2,000 homes, if they would
furnish riders dor them. If they could
not furnish this small number It
would be futile for them to attempt
to withstand the great Assyrian army.
(2) He asserted that It was use
less for these to past their trust In
God (v. 10). He even declared that the
Lord had sent him to destroy Judah.
(8) He tried to create a panic
among the people (nr. 13-21). Fear

AT THE FAIR
Along the way to the Fair Grounds
were many automobiles all bearing
large signs which
said:
•This way to
the Fair Grounds.
This way to the
Fair Grounds.”
•On a ridge In
the distance stood
some small boys
and a few older
people, onlookers
who had decided
they would go to
the Fair on the
following day, but
w b o could get
some of the gaiety
and excitement In
seeing the tents
and the crowds
from here, and
who could see, later on, the balloon
go up.
Bobby went to the Fair. He did not
go up In the grandstand, for he wanted
to wander from place to place and be
sides, you could always tell when any
thing exciting was going on In front
of the grandstand, for the crowd al
ways moved over that way.
Bobby had won a prize with a splen
did big exhibit of potatoes he bad
grown himself. He had hoed them
nnd taken care of them, and he went
to see them first.
How clean and splendid they did
look—such nice, prize-winning pota
toes!
Bobby went everywhere. He even
went and looked at the exhibition of
quilts, for hla mother bad sent two
she had made, and she had won a
second prize.
There were pictures, too. And ev

come in wagons and In cars and upon
their feet, and some of the old men
Bobby never seemed to see on any
other day In the year, he saw ut the
Fair.
Some of them even wore shiny high
hats and white waistcoats and carried
canes and looked very grand. Indeed.
Bobby had always wanted to be a
special policeman for this day—order
ing the people about and getting quite
excited himself.
When Bobby took a real from eat
ing candy and pop-corn be chewed long
bits of grass he found. He got so
into the habit of eating at a Fair 1
Bobby saw the balloon go up and
that was u great excitement, as the
year before there had been no balloon
at all.
And there was. nothing-In the world
qnlte so thrilling os to see the balloon
go up.
When the Fair was over Bobby won
dered how he would manage for the
next two days! He had gone on tlie
first day of all, nnd be only had a
ticket for one day.
But before he left the Fair Grounds
that afternoon he waa offered a most
delightful Job.
He was asked If he would like to
come und sell lemonade and glngerale
the next two Fair days.
And It was a particularly nice work,
for he was snpposed to go around car
rying a basket
filled with • these
bottles and a lot
of straws and a
bottle opener so
he cold sell to
people all over the
Fair Grounds. He'
could get all about
and yet he could-
make some money
and see the Fair
each day.
If It had not
been for this work
he vontd only
have seen the
