“If at first you don’t succeed, try,
try again.” Harris county’s consola¬
tion.
Let’s have the next county fair
Chipley. There might be some ob¬
jections, but the thrifty enterprise of
the Queen mountain city will over¬
come all this.
Rev. W. W. Arnold attended his
appointment in Hamilton Sunday.

Our city of the dead is being great¬

paint, etc.
Our citizens should not kick about
not getting the blue ribbon at the Co¬
lumbus Exposition. The defeat should
only renew their vigorous efforts. The
display she made will do Harris much
much good.
Rev. W. T. Bell closed his career
with the Whitesville district Sunday
at Whitesville at 11 a. m. At the
close of his sermon his audience was
bathed in tears. An entire church
almost turned out from New Hope
to listen to his farewell sermon. The
churches out in those communities are
very much attached to him, as they
are also here. He has done much
for the cause of Christianity since his
connection with this circuit. For
three years he has labored successful¬
ly as pastor, although not without
some drawback. He lias been a very
courageous Christian — has always
trampled on sin in all its various
forms. Many petitions and private
letters have been sent to the presid¬
ing elder for his return. But should
we lose him we will always remember
him for his worth and piety.
Mr. T. M. Hogan will move his
family to this place at an early date.

were in the city a few days ago visit¬

KLY ASH
ITTERS
One of the most important organs of the
human body is the LIVER. When it fails to
properly perform its functions the entire
system becomes deranged. The BRAIN,
KIDNEYS, STOMACH, BOWELS, all refuse
to perform their work. DYSPEPSIA, CON¬
STIPATION, RHEUMATISM, KIDNEY DIS
EASE, etc., are the results, unless some¬
thing is done to assist Nature in throwing
off the impurities caused by the inaction
of a TORPID LIVER. This assistance so
necessary will be found in
Prickly Ash Bitters I
It acts directly on the LIVER, STOMACH
and KIDNEYS, and by itsmiid and cathartic
effect and general tonic qualities restores
these organs to a sound, healthy condition,
and cures all diseases arising from these
causes. It PURIFIES THE BLOOD, tones
up the system, and restores perfect health.
If your druggist does not keep it ask him to
order it for you. Send 2c stamp for copy of
“THE HORSE TRAINER,” published by us.
