FATAL NEGLECT.
The breaking of the smallest wheel
in a mammoth factory, if not repaired
or replaced, will ruin the entire plant,
as a speck of dust will derange the
delicate machinery of a watch. Were
people as thoughtful to repair their
broken health on the first approach
of disese, as the owner is to mend his
machinery, they would escape inde¬
scribable snffering, and often death.
Slight causes will sometimes derange
the digestive organs, on whose healthy
action the health of the whole system
so much depends, and feverish blood,
headaches, and consumption itself,
set in. The wise people will at once
arrest the cause of these unhealthy
symptoms, resorting tojthat worldfam
ed remedy, Dr. Pierce’s Golden Med
icai Discovery, which purifies the
blood and enres liver disease. Of all
druggists.
The Worst JYasal Catarrh,
no matter of how long standing, is
absolutely cured by Dr. Sage’s Catarrh
R medy. It does not merely give re¬
lief, but produces permanent cures in
the worst cases. 50 cents by druggists.

MATTER OF INTEREST.
Staunton, Va., Aug. 1,1888.
Tbe Swifc Specific Co., Atlanta, Ga.:
Gentlemen.—During the early body part
of the past spring (1888), my time
was covered with toils. At one
more than fifty were counted on my
body and limbs. My face was not
exempt from the painful trouble.
The usual remedies would do me no
good. Just why I began taking S. S.
S. I do not know, but almost immed¬
iately I began to improve. I took
nearly three bottles, and found my
self entirely well. It was your med¬
icine which effected the cure, when
everything else had failed. Yours
truly, J. H. Fordham.
Bad Ulcer.

The Swift Specific Co., Atlanta, Ga.:
Gentlemen—About two years ago
I had a breaking Out on my leg which
gave me almost intolerable pain from
its itching and burning. I used the
simple remedies at hand, but the dis¬
ease continued spread, covering over
a third of my limb, The physicians
called it eczema, The first doclor
done me no good, and I tried the sec¬
ond, third and fourth with same result.
One of them said I will never be
well. I have used everything I knew
that was recommended for blood dis¬
eases. No one who saw my swelled
and inflamed leg, which looked as if
the blood would burst out of it, ever
thought there was anything but tor
tue for me. I candidly confess that
I owe my present health Swift’s Spe¬
cific, which in m > estimation, is inval
uable as a blood purifier.
Gratefully yours,
Mrs. Julia DcWitt,
