That aside from his virtues as
a minister, Key. MjMichael is one
of the most pleasant and affable
gentlemen socially, we have ever
had the pleasure of meeting. His
unadulterable and friendly shake

The many friends of Mr. Hen¬

Mr. Martin has been connected

a year, and his promotion is one
of which he should feel justly
proud,. The Atlanta Jourpal
of his appointment says,
among other things, the many
fiiends of Mr. Henry F.
on congratulating him. on his sue-'

of the Plymouth Rock Pants Co.,
said Mr. Martin is a great hustler
and will make the Plymouth
Rock hum. This is evidence of

Mr. Martin is a son of Hon. T. j.

gratulate him on his success so
early in life and wish for him
many years of prosperity.

TV ashing Out the Stomach.
Some physicians in treating
Bummer complaint in young chil¬
dren resort to the operation of
washing out the stomach. Par¬

fearing that the onbs. are
likely to be injured thereby v . It is
a very harmless .procedure, and
occasions much less discomfort
than the observer would suppose.
Doubtless there are many cases
where "this operation promises bet¬
ter than any oilier, or the use of
medicines. In no case can it dc
