R, Proctor, Camden’s choice for senator. It was Camden’s time to name a sen ator and the alliance chose Proctor, who did not think the demooratio platform good enough. The delegates elected from tho several districts of Berrien county to consolidate the vote of Saturday’s primary for governor, state house of ficers mid congressman, mot in the court houso at Nashvillo last Mon day morning, and was called to or der by Hon, H. B. Peeples, tlie chair man of tho county executive commit tee. The returns from the precincts showed that a very light voto bad been polled in the districts where primaries were held and some dis trict* had held no primary at all. The total voto polled was 310, dis tributed us follows: Nashville, 64, Alapaha 64, Tifton 63, Ado! 30, Co- cil 29, Sparks 24, Milltown 25, Ray's Mill 32, River Bond 0. Those dis tricts not holding elections are Up per Ninth, Brookfield, Upper Tenth, Now River and Connell’s Mill. Col. L. E. Lastinger, from Brookfield, was present and by request acted in the convention for Rrookticld dis trict. A survey of tho returns revealed the fact that Hon. Beil K. Russell had received nn overwhelming ma- ority as a democratic candidate for congress. Sicvciih received less than twenty votes in the county. Gov, Northeti, the old state house officials ami Joe M. Terrell, for attorney- general, were endorsed. There was some scratching done at Alapaha and Add for attorney-general and com missionor of agriculture. Messrs. Thomas E, Williams and Willium K, Guldens were chosen delegates to the congressional convention which J/moots m Albany on thu 17th insl. Col. II. B. Peoples and Mr. W. If. Lovo were chosen delegates to rep resent tho county hi the gobernatori al convention at Atlanta on the 10th inst. The following executive committee was chosoti for the ensuing two years: Nashville—A. W. Patterson, chair man. Alapaha—M. J. McMillan. Tifton—M. A. Sbxtnn. Upper Ninth—J. L, Matthews: Brookfield—II. C. Baker. Now River—J. M. Hancock. Sparks—W. J. McKinney. Add—C. IT. Shaw. (Joed—D, P.
