Mr. Frank M. Rhodes, of McKees
port, Pa., in company with two or
three other ?ennsylvaniane,arrived in
the city Wednesday afternoon on a
prospecting tour. He represents a
dozen or more families who desire
homes in this section of Georgia.

Rev. W. L. Kilpatrick, D. D., of

last Friday and Saturday nights, Son-
day morning and night. Everybody

a warm welcome at any time.'

burglarized last Monday night. A
quantity of canned goods, some cloth
ing and other merchandise purloined
therefrom. It is thought the burg
lar entered the store by tlic side door
by running his arm through a oat

and lifting the cross-bar, which fas
tened the door, from its socket With

In accordance with the report made
by the special committee, appointed
at the last session of tbe Mell Baptist
association to consider the advisabil
ity as well as feasibility of organizing
Sunday-soliool convention within
its bounds, which was adopted by the
body unanimously, there will be a
meeting of the Sunday-school work
ers of Mell association at Sparks on
Saturday before the fifth Sunday in
April to perfect the srganization of
suzh Sunday-school association.
