REGULATOR
Aro you taking Simmons Liver Reg
ulator, the “King op Liver Medi
cines?” That is what our readers
want, and nothing but that. It is the
same old Mend to which the old folks
pinned their faith and were never dis
appointed. But another good recom
mendation for it is, that it is better
than Fills, never gripes, never weak
ens, but works in such an easy and
natural way, jnst like nature itself, that
relief comes quick and sure, and one
feols now all over. It never falls.
Everybody needs take a liver remedy,
and everyone should take only Sim
mons Liver Regulator.

Under the above head, the Macon
Telegraph of Juno 17th says edito
rially:
“We refer the readers of the. Telegraph
to the supplemental report from the fruit
section which was not included in yester
day's magnificent showing. The people
of Macon should go to work this morn
ing with more hopeful hearts, feeling
that the world is even brighter than it
was when the last week closed. Here
we are surrounded with a country liter
ally teeming with a crop that sells in the
murkets of the world at steady and high
ly remunerative prices. From many
points within fifty miles Of Macon the
shipments arc going forward and still
there's more to follow. The rush has not
yet commenced. Peaches, water melous,
grapes and pears, all growlag in Ooorgla
ns tltey grow in no other state in the Un
ion, this year will bring returns that can-
not help but relievo very greatly the
monoy stringency.
“Whilo speaking of the general note of
prosperity and of hope that comes from
all these points around Macon, wo can
not but point witli particular pride to
the good town of Tifton, down on the
Georgia Southern and Florida railroad.
Tifton is riclt and growiug richer every
day. Her orchards glow with the soft
beauties of the pouch, her fields aro cov
ered with tlie great big'melons that only
Georgia boasts in perfection. Tho lus
cious grapes hang in clusters from t.ho
trellis on a thousand ucrca and the stately
pcaclt tree bends beneath Its burden of
fruit. No corner of litis wide world lias
more of reason to bo content than Tifton
und its people. They are rich in litis
world’s goods and nature has been very
kind to them.
“The Midsummer Fair at Tifton will
he otto of tho groat events of tho South
this year. It is not unfortunate that tho
Georgia Peach Carnival and the Tlflou
fair should clash in dates, for these two
points are very close together und the
visitors to Georgin will thus tie given a
double opportunity to see and judge for
themselves. Their visit of inspection to
Georgia would not lie complete without a
trip over the Georgia Southern and Flor
ida railroad and of all the fine points of
vantage along that linn of road, none
can boast greater attractions than
Tifton."
Sacramento, Cai.., June ‘24.—
Fruit shippers in this section advise
all growers not to make any ship
ments of peaches cast this year, but in
stead to dry them and sell to the best
advantage to eanners. The leading
shipper hero says: “Tito refusal to
handle peaches at eastern markets is
Swing to the enormous crop in Geor
gia, Maryland, Now Jersey and else
where. Georgia peaches aro now com
ing in immense quantities and reach
Now York and Chicago in better
condition than California peaches.
Again, tho freight from Georgia to
Chicago is f>7 cents a hundred, whilo
from California it is $1.25. These
things inuko it almost impossible to
ship poaches east at a profit when
there is a good crop in tho Atlantic
states, ns there is tins year.”
The Discovery Saved His Life.
MrG. Cuillouette, Druggist Heavers-
vllle, 111., says: “To Dr. King’s New
Discovery l owe my life. Was luken
witli l.a Grippe and tried all the
physicians for miles about, but of no uvall
and was given up and told I could not
live. Having Dr. King's Now Discovery
in my store I sent for a bottle and began
its use ami from the first dose began to
get better, and aftor using three bottles
was up and about again, it is worth Its
weight hi gold. Wo won,t keep storo or
house without It.” Get a free trial at
J.J. Gulden's, Tifton, or W. A. Grab-
tree's, Sparks.

Nothing daunted,liowovor, lie comes here

to secure this branch of nn cducnllon.
lie proposos to take subscriptions for

tions for which ho gets n commission. By
this means lie hopes to succeed. He de
serves to succeed nnd we hope that the
plucky young fellow will meet witli the
success here which lie so richly deserves.
Give him h helping hand. You will
never regret It. This is,perhaps, the piv
otal period of Ids life. A little help
now, if only the earning of 85 or 80
cents, menns everything to 1dm. Young
men are the hope of .lltc country, and
when one shows a disposition to mnko u
man of himself he is surely entitled to
tlie sympathy and aid of every one.
The above is reproduced from a

manly letter to his parents, express
ing sincere thanks to the people of
Thomasville for their kindness to
hint, and expresses his determination
to win an education despite all diili-
