firm, is a well-known truck grower of

one of the fathers of fruit growing in j

what caii be grown in Georgia’s gar
den spot. Capt, John A. Sibley, of
• Augusta, the other member of the
firm, has also, though a voting man,
- extensive experience in fruit growing
and is personally superintending the
work. He has extensive landed in
terests in this section of the state,
and does an extensive real estate bus
iness in connection with the superin
tendence of the truck farm.
Operations were begun in* January
of the present year, in the virgin for
est. Already the company has com
modious buildings, handsomely laid
off and well arranged grounds, and
100 acres set to fruit trees, to which
they will add 200 more the coming
winter, it being their purpose to in
crease the grand-total to 1000 acres,
in fruit and truck.
A visit to their farm will well re
pay the time and trouble, and you
will be cordially welcomed and hos-
pttably treated.

The above represents the Sibley Annex, a tract of land owned by es
tate of Josiah Sibley, one half mile from intersection of Brunswick and
Western and Georgia Southern and Florida railroads, at the Southwest
boundary of the city of Tifton, and is on line of Tifton and Thomasville
road, which runs from lot 24 southwest to lot 42. Said tract is divided
into lots containing ten and thirteen acres each. If yon want a large

tract yon can buy it of the Sibley estate in Berrien, Worth, Coffee and
other counties. The title to this property has been in the Sibley family

since 1849, and was granted by the State to Josiah Sildev, formerly of
