Mr. W. F. Balke, with a party of
friends, from Chagrin Falls, Ohio,
spent several days in Tifton this week,

Wagon loads of pears come iu every
day from the country to the Canning
factory. The supply seems inexaus-
tible, and the demand good. A few
car-loads have beeu received by rail.
The pears are nearly all of the Iieif-
fer variety.
