Clever Capt. A. W. Rooks, of tho

week, getting acquainted with a

Why not you come forward with
your usual energy and dignity and
let’s fix Wednesday the 23rd inst, for
Town Arhor Day ?
Having consulted some members
of the town council it has been agreed
to ns? that day in beautifying our
streets and homes and churches by
setting out such trees as best suit our
climate and taste. Wish you would
push the matter further. The Trus
tees of the school huve ugiecd to place
81 trees around the academy. We
will try to have it done that day.
Let's all spend one dvy in the tree
business. Who will second the mo

by the marshal of Ocilla Saturday,
on notification from the 'Berrien
