Building, recently vacated by Smith! Mr ' ' Vll8on will hike charge on Smith’s Drug Store, has been carry ing a fall line of the new books, re cently udopted by the County Board of Education. This is probably thc first complete line to be put on in the county, end Mr. Smith deserves credit for His enterprise. It was only five days from the time the hooks were adopted until' they were offered for sale in Tifton. The new manager is an experienced hotel man, having been prominently in the business for sixteen years. Ho was also thc manager of a Irotel in Fitzgerald, and has hundreds of friends among southern commercial men, who will learn with pleasure that he has embarked in the hotel business in Atlieus. Mr. Wilson will make extensive improvements on the interior of the Comereiul building at once and will refit the hotel with new furniture and bric-a-brac—Athens Banner, 16th. Mr. Wilson’s many friends hero will learn of his new, and most favor able location with pleasure, and tho Gazette joins them in sincere wishes for a prosperous season. Notice.
