DREADS DOCTOR'S QUESTIONS
Thousands Write to Mrs. Pinkham, Lynn,
and Receive Valuable Advioe
Absolutely Confidential and Free
There can be no more terrible ordeal
to a delicate, sensitive, refined woman
than to be obliged to answer certain
questions in regard to her private ills,
even when those questions are asked
by her family physician, and many
continue to Buffer rather than submit
to examinations which ho many physi
cians propose in order to intelligently
treat the disease; and this is the rea
son why bo many physicians fall to
cure female disease.
This is also the reason why thousands
Upon thousands of women are corre
sponding with Mrs Pinkham,daughter-
in-law of Lydia E. Pinkham, at Lynn,
Mass. To her they can confide every
detail of their illness, and from her
great knowledge, obtained from years
of experience in treating female ills,
Mrs. Pinkham can advise sick women
more wisely than the local physician.

Mr. E. H. Norton, of Alapaha,
wfm m Tilton Friday, on business.
Mr. Norton b&s ft large and rapidly
growing apiary at bis home in that
city, to which he is giving that care
ful study and close attention which
insures success.
He has, in all, 35 colonies of Ital
ian bees, in the latest patent hives.
From 17 of those colonies, from
which he takes comb honey excltu-:
ively, he has already taken 1,100
p junds of comb honey, or an aver
age of about sixty pounds to the
hive.
From 18 hives which he extracted
honey, he has taken already near
900 pounds of clear honey, or an
average of 48 pounds to the colony.
Mr. Norton's extracted honey
comes from where the queen bee is
never allowed, and is free from bee
bread or young bees, ana is clear
and delicious. This he puts up in
quarts, gallons and 5-gallon pack
ages. The comb honey, of course,
comes already in neat packages for
market
The entire product of this apiary
finds ready sale at a good price.
A lot of comb honey shipped to
Tifton this week is packed in neat
carriers holding twelve pounds each,
made of new poplar, with glass
fronts, a most convenient and band-
some package.
The honey itself is ho clear as to
bo almost white, and of a most deli
cious flavor; tbo comb is pure white.
A Tifton grocer, who caters to
the most exclusive trade, immediate
ly on seeing one of these packages,
placed an order for 100 pounds;
another ordered 25 pounds.
Mr. Norton’s apiary is an eye
opener to one interested in the re
sources of South Georgia, and an
instance of what intelligent bee cul
tnre can accomplish.

Tifton, Ca.
Tillman and Dailey Say the Rate Law
Will Give Relief.
Washington, May 28.—Toward
the elose of the rate bill debate in
the senate, the senators began to de
fend their position in discussing rail
road legislation for months.
They pointed out what everybody
now admits, that they improved the
rate bill and made it stronger.
In the winter of 1905 there was
great clamor for tbo quick passage
by the senate of the Esch-Townseud
bill, which thousands of people
thought was just the thing. Now
it has no advocates in or out of con
gress.
The democratic leaders seem quite
well satisfied with the Hepburn-
Tillman bill.
Senator Tillman and Senator Bai
ley both said if the bill fails to give
the relief expected, it will be because
the people themselves will go to
iep.
Senator Tillman, in his manly way,
publicly thanked President Roose
velt for his strenuous help. Tillman
feels bitterly toward the president,
but paid him a tribute for his co
operation.
Senator Teller said there had not
been a more important qnestion be
fore congress in fifty years, and he
added:
Much has been said about the
constitutional lawyers here, as if this
were not the place of all others
where there should be constitutional
lawyers, as if it were a blight upon
the character of a member of this
body that he should assume to stand
for the constitution of the United
States. We have beard from more
than one lawyer here—and every,
man hero must admit it—that it is
not yet a settled questiou what our
power may bo. We know that we
cannot ourselves sit down and fix
railroad rates. We may have the
power, but we have not the ability
to make rates and apply them to all
the railroads of the country. The
question whether we can leave the
determination of that matter to a
commission is yet open.”
